
Jay & Vivian
Jay has worked in residential construction for more than twenty-five years, and has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Construction Technology from the University of Montana. He got his start in the business working with his father, and is now continuing that heritage by working with his sons. Jay and his family worship at Emmanuel Chapel in Helena, where he serves as an elder. For many years he was involved in the Boy Scouts of America with his sons.
Vivian spent sixteen years homeschooling the three Heslep children. Once they were all off to college she became Heslep Construction’s office manager. She shares Jay’s love of the outdoors and time with their family, especially the grandchildren!

Jayson Heslep
Jayson brings his creative and artistic gifts to Heslep Construction with an eye for balance and beauty in design and drafts the plans for some of our projects. He is a certified lead renovator. Besides building houses he enjoys sailing and boat building, wood carving, drawing, hiking, camping, and hunting. Jayson holds an AA degree in Classical Christian Liberal Arts from New Saint Andrews College in Moscow, Idaho. He and his wife, Bethany, have a very handsome boy named Silas Jack, our first grandson.


Christopher Miltenberger
Christopher is involved with all phases of the construction process—from concrete flatwork to framing, roofing and trim. He is married to our daughter, Karyn, and they have two beautiful daughters. Before joining Heslep Construction, Christopher served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing his acoustic guitar for his daughters, hunting, canoeing, and camping. He’s the best son-in-law we could ask for! It’s great to have him in the family business.

Jonathan Heslep
Jonathan has worked for Heslep Construction as a summer job all through high school and college, and still works for us occasionally when he’s not fighting fires with the DNRC or Jefferson City Volunteer Fire Dept. Jonathan, an Eagle Scout, is the assistant scoutmaster of a Helena Boy Scout Troop. He plays the acoustic and bass guitars, and enjoys soccer, canoeing, downhill skiing, and big game hunting.
